嘉宾简介

Dr. Xiao-Hua(Andrew) ZHOU, PKU Endowed Chair Professor at Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research and Chair of the Department of Biostatistics at Peking University. Dr. Zhou is a renowned statistician. He was elected to the Fellow of the ASA; American Association for the Advancement of Science and Institute of Mathematical Statistics. He has made many important contributions to medicine and public health by developing new statistical methods, particularly in diagnostic medicine and causal inference. He has published over 260 statistical methodology and medical papers and is either the corresponding author or senior author on most of them; many of them have been published in top statistical journals, such as Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B, Journal of the American Statistical Association, Biometrics, Biometrika, Annals of Statistics, and Statistics in Medicine. He served as Chair of the Section on Statistics in Epidemiology of the American Statistical Association, Chair of the Health Policy Statistics Section of the American Statistical Association, and Chair of the Mental Health Statistics Section of the American Statistical Association. Dr. Zhou is currently President of International Biometric Society (Chinese Region) and President of Biomedicine Statistics Society of Chinese Association for Applied Statistics. His research interests include biostatistics, causal inference, statistical methods in diagnostic medicine, the analysis of big data, statistical methods in Chinese Medicine, and mathematical and statistical modeling of infectious disease data.
